Location: Monroe, NC – Department: Sales

Evaluator: Sales Director – Reports To: Sales Director

Main Purpose: To globally sell biomedical equipment to healthcare facilities and medical equipment dealers.

Duties and Responsibilities: (in order of importance)

  1. Closes sales that are profitable to the company and to the satisfaction of the customer.
  2. Accurately identifies customer’s technical and clinical requirements.
  3. Advises customer on their equipment needs by educating them in the features and specifications of biomedical and imaging capital equipment.
  4. Maintains long term relationships with customers that are key decision makers.
  5. Responds to all incoming sales leads by telephone or written correspondence.
  6. Attends, interfaces and meets with clients while accommodating their clients schedule.
  7. Performs presentations at symposiums, trade shows and customer’s facility.
  8. Maintains both short term and long-term customer satisfaction by responding to their accounts requirements, complaints or needs.
  9. Hosts visiting customers by attending to their travel and accommodation requirements.

 Knowledge, Skill and Abilities: (in order of importance)

  1. Knowledge of operation, clinical applications and specifications of biomedical and imaging equipment.
  2. Knowledge of healthcare facility operations.
  3. Skill to research and understand biomedical equipment functions, options, operation and clinical application.
  4. Ability to negotiate, gauge and convince customers.
  5. Knowledge basic anatomy and physiology.
  6. Ability to work independently and/or remotely from company.
  7. Skilled in the use of Saleslogix and Microsoft office software.

 Credentials and Experience:

  1. BS degree in Biomedical Engineering or medical related science

 Special Requirements: (established by evaluator)

  1. Must be available to customer 24 x 7 for emergencies.
  2. Occasional overnight and weekend travel.
  3. Must be available to pick up their customers at travel hubs such as airports, bus stations etc.

Evaluator: Procurement Manager – Reports To: Procurement Manager

Main Purpose: Multimedia customer research of people responsible for the disposal of surplus medical equipment at their facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities: (in order of importance)

  1. Arrives at 9:30am EST ready to work.
  2. Follows the Procurement Flow Chart.
  3. Identifies the surplus medical equipment contact for an organization.
  4. Accurately enters data into CRM software.
  5. Identifies purchasing opportunities.
  6. Builds relationships with relevant customer contacts.

 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (in order of importance)

  1. Ability to present, dress and speak English in a professional corporate manner.
  2. Ability to simultaneously multitask the use of computer, Internet, telephone and office equipment.
  3. Knowledge of medical devices and procedures.
  4. Knowledge of medical device manufacturers.
  5. Knowledge of hospital departments and operations.
  6. Knowledge of CMR, CMMS and Microsoft Office software.
  7. Knowledge of American states and cities names.
  8. Knowledge of modern office procedures and methods including telephone communications, office equipment, and record keeping.
  9. Knowledge of modern business communication, including style and format of letters, memoranda, minutes, and reports.
  10. Can type 25 words per minute.
  11. Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.

 Credentials and Experience: (established by supervisor)

  1. Medical or Hospital related degree or
  2. Three years related hospital experience
